Welcome to Konark-Koncept. By engaging our manufacturing services or using our website, you agree to the following terms and conditions. Please read them carefully before placing a custom order.
1. The Custom Design Process
Client Approval
Production begins only after the client has provided written approval of the final design, dimensions, and material specifications.
Accuracy of Information
Konark-Koncept is not responsible for furniture that does not fit due to incorrect dimensions provided by the client. We highly recommend our professional measurement service for a guaranteed fit.
2. Manufacturing & Timelines
Estimated Lead Times
While we strive to meet all deadlines, lead times typically range from 4–8 weeks and are estimates only. Handcrafted manufacturing can be affected by material availability and workshop capacity.
Handmade Nature
Since our products are handcrafted, slight variations in dimensions up to 5mm are considered within professional tolerance.
3. Material Natural Variations
Wood & Grain
Wood is a natural product. Variations in grain, color, knots, and texture are inherent characteristics of genuine hardwood and are not considered defects.
Aging
Wood may expand or contract slightly depending on environmental humidity. Konark-Koncept is not liable for changes caused by extreme climate conditions in the client’s home.
4. Payment & Cancellation
- Deposit: A non-refundable deposit of [e.g., 50%] is required to secure your production slot and purchase raw materials.
- Cancellations: Once production has commenced (wood has been cut), orders cannot be cancelled or refunded.
- Final Payment: The remaining balance must be cleared prior to or upon delivery, as per the agreed contract.
5. Delivery & Installation
Access Responsibility
It is the client’s responsibility to ensure that the furniture can fit through doorways, hallways, staircases, and elevators.
Inspection on Delivery
Clients must inspect the furniture upon delivery. Any structural damage must be reported immediately to the delivery team and noted on the delivery receipt.
6. Warranty & Returns
Bespoke Nature
Because our items are manufactured to specific client demand, we do not accept returns or exchanges for change of mind.
Structural Warranty
We provide a [e.g., 5-year] warranty against manufacturing defects in joinery and construction. This does not cover wear and tear, accidental damage, or misuse.
7. Intellectual Property
Design Ownership: Konark-Koncept retains the rights to all 3D models, blueprints, and photographs of the finished product for marketing purposes unless a prior non-disclosure agreement (NDA) is signed with the client.
8. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of India, and any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in that region.
